In response to customer demand we have released a stand alone version of the Infratel ClickConnect service. This is a simple way to provide website visitors with an option to call your business directly from your website. To setup ClickConnect for your website or blog all you need is a registration code and an existing phone number. You can get a FREE registration code from us during our early adopter program or you can buy one from one of our hosting/cloud services partners starting next month.
Once you have a code you visit the appplication registration page to create your account. Simply fill in the fields, accept the terms and click “Register & Login”. Your account will immediately be created and you will see the Infratel ClickConnect Management screen:
You”ll notice that on the management screen you can 1. View the real time status of your account, number of minutes used and number of minutes available. 2. You can upgrade your subscription from within the application as needed. 3. Change your forwarding number at any time. 4. Access the widget code that you copy and paste into your website.
It’s rather simple, yet can help your business to turn more website visitors into customers. If you want to see how this works, look to the left of this blog post on the Infratel.com website. You’ll notice the orange “Click to Call” button. This is the widget that will appear on your website. If you click on the orange button the web dialer will appear and ask you for permission to use your microphone on your computer. Once you accept, a call will be made to our offices.
